"Deliver Me"
Today I actually touched the Dead Sea and its memories so became a part of me.
I viewed God's unique creation and it was nearly void of man or his recreation.
A place like this should life abound but scarcely any could be found.
God's world today, is much like this sea a place, as love becomes scarce a trace.
Today I carry such a weight, in a world needing more of love and less of hate.
In this time so easy to fall; I still find peace as on His name I call.
The weight is lightened to set me free, as if He is attending only me.
I have joy given with none to pay, just as I expect and receive everyday.
Today in praise I search His will and open widely my heart to fill.
I yield to Him my God most high and pray my life today will glorify.
I give thanks this day for my life living and free and know all we face ahead; He will deliver me.

We see and hear everyday about a troubled world and troubled times. Most are strained about as tight as they can be wound. We all can get so caught up in these troubles that we lose sight of the wealth of joy, that is still shared each and everyday. We already know Democrats do not like Republicans and this goes both ways. We know evil dictators hope to rule the universe. We know there are bad people in this world and there is misfortune and disease but this is the dark life. We who are Believers in Jesus Christ as the only Savior, the only way to heaven, are not of the darkness but of the Light. The darkness is still here but we have new eyes to see in the darkness. There used to be movies you could go to that the only way to see them correctly was to have special glasses. You had to buy a ticket and these glasses came with the price. Well, today our ticket has been purchased and paid in full. Along with this ticket we have not only recieved new eyes but a brand new life. Enjoy that life today. Watch closely today as God sends a special gift just for you and share it with Him by giving it to another. Keep shining and be as good as you can be and when you have a chance; you pray for me.
