"Fitly Spoken"

It often seems quite absurd the way our events of life have occurred.

Often we forget the power of a word and our love will go unheard.

A word fitly spoken can give joy to a heart that has long been broken.

It can be as apples of gold that shine in darkness much more than bold.

Love that is left untold, will leave both the giver and receiver a heart most cold.

If the speaker is as apples of gold; he will shine most bright of love to behold.

When the receiver is as a frame of silver, he too will shine and never cover.

A word fitly spoken may be used for God a mighty token.

Proverbs 25: 11 ... A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.

Wars can be started or ended by words. Surely we can see how the right word at the right time and the right way can make a difference in our lives. This apple spoken of here is contrasted in this beautiful silver frame. Neither is trying to outshine the other nor are they trying to make the other appear to look bad. They are beautifully different but also know they are beautiful together. We can all remember a gray day we've had when a golden apple came our way of I love you, I appreciate the work you do or an appropriately thank you, that has made a dark day bright. Our audible mouth was created by God to converse with Him. Many would rather tell all the bad that they can find. We must remember that we have been given the gift of comfort in word and His Word, given to us by God Himself. It is our privilege to pass this on to as many as we can. I stopped sending my little devotionals for a brief period sometime back because I was sick. I had not heard from some of the folks in a long time. I was afraid that rather than being an encouragement; the added email might be a further burden, thus defeating what I was being led by God to do. I receved an email box full of what happened to our devotionals. Remember today you may have the word someone really needs. Stars do not just exist but they shine. Each brick and each stone in the wall are very important to the strength of the wall. Today lend your light and lend your strength. My prayer today is that you will be encouraged in your privileged time of service to and with God. Give your love away everyday and very soon you will find just how rich that you are. Keep on the sunny side. May God Really Bless You! Keep shining and be as good as you can be and when you have a chance; you pray for me.
