"Flight So High"

There is a dark bird in a sky bright, and a light bird in a sky dark as the night.

In a night way deep a young girl crys herself to sleep, as she hopes for sight in a world so blind.

There is a child that sits and stares, as he wonders if anyone cares.

There is one to teach that tonight will not sleep, as she ponders one she just can't reach.

Tonight in her mind a girl deals with rape, and it's her mind she can't escape.

There is one with needle hot, now fights a life of gloom, as he feels a friend, he has not.

A young woman unwed is about to give birth, and she feels not one ounce of worth.

Here is God with His love most kind, and shares His love not hard to find.

So no matter how dark your night nor bright your day, you still can fly high and far away.

There is one with impossible He works His best, and has yet to fail even one test.

It's the darkest of times He shines most bright, as Jesus Christ is the Light.

There is a dark bird in a sky bright, and a light bird in a sky dark as night, but they both soar the sky in flight.
