"God's Woods"

There is a place I love to be, that speaks to me, where in God's woods I feel so free.

Of all the beauty God to me has shown, these are some I've really known.

The spring brings soft colors of pleasant green, that makes my soul a life so serene.

With pastels of an emerald hue,and with a background in shades of blue, I am convinced of my God so true.

The summer has a carpet thick on hills and valleys too, and underneath are shimmers of light brand new.

On early morn from a night of heavy dew, it sounds as rain as it drips to the floor, and we know God is alive forever more.

The birds now sing and the squirrels jump and race, and I praise God for this woderful place.

The fall is a time that boggles the mind, as there is not one color I can't find.

The wind blows and whirs through the trees, as the air is colored in gentle breeze, I fall lightly to my knees, as do these leaves.

The winter is in full view as the wind now blows freely through.

The snow is waft in bows of light, and over sparkles the moon in night so bright.

In the woods I find much reason, and I find God in life every season.

There is a place I love to be, that speaks to me, where in God's woods I feel so free.
