Is Risen
To some
Easter is merely a day of fun but to we that are
heaven bound; it celebrates the rising of the Son
The sun
shone most bright on this particular day as the true Light shone with the stone now rolled away.
We so
often seek Christ where death has always been but He has beaten the grave and completely defeated
sin.
Now that
this holy day is quickly approaching with your life often bound
with fear; stop for a while to praise God for He is risen; He is not here.
He is in our heart and in our life and will never again
be held or die for this world so full of strife.
With
dark places around this world seen today most clear; stop for a
while to praise God for He is risen; He is not here.

.. And when the sabbath
was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and
Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint
him..2.. And very early in the morning the first day of
the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun..3.. And they said among themselves, Who shall roll
us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre? ..4.. And when they looked, they saw that the stone
was rolled away: for it was very great..5.. And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a
young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white
garment; and they were affrighted..6.. And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye
seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is
not here: behold the place where they laid him..7..But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter
that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as
he said unto you
Easter
is a wonderful time of our year. Some folks come to church during
this time and the only other time you'll see them will be maybe
Christmas and probably at their or a family members funeral. One
man told me after he had accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior, that he had never heard any
other sermons but Easter and Christmas. He had no idea that Jesus
Christ was the only way to heaven. I love the Easter
eggs and all of the celebration but we as Christians, must
remember it is our joy and privilege, to explain to one and all,
just why we are celebrating this Holyday as a very special holiday Try this with the kids. I colored an egg and
made a tiny hole in each end. I then blue out the insides. I
cracked a regular egg to show what was inside. I then cracked the
empty egg to show them the example of Jesus is not in the grave but is risen. Have a very
Holy Easter! May God Really Bless You! Keep shining and be as good
as you can be and when you have a chance; you pray for me
