"If I Could Be A Friend"

If I could be a friend, I'd be the kind you see; that when I gave my love, it would be for free, and none in return would be expected, except they'd be there for me.

I'd put them down no never, but lift them up so high and let them surely know, they're the apple of my eye.

If I could be a friend, would be for eternity, and be ready with forgiveness always, just as would they for me.

If I could be a friend, I'd pray for them each day, and ask for God's blessings complete, in each and everyway.

God help me to be a friend, by sending mine today, and help us to be like you, in Jesus name I pray.
