"I Have Found A Stairway"
Many go through life, complaining about the cold, and how they hate the thought of ever growing old.
They do not know, they must get older, but most certainly do not have to grow old.
A husband and wife, can look at a wedding picture, of fifty years ago. They could talk of all the troubles, and add up all the bad, or they can say," we are now more than just in love, but now have found the best friend we've ever had."
Many count life full of troubles only, oh so blue, but since I have found a stairway, my life is full of joys too.
In my life's cold, I've found icicles, so frosty and smooth, and snow flakes that sparkle each one brand new. I've found dew drops, that sparkle sky blue, and since I found Christ, I've found the meaning of truth.
I now no longer just hear the storm, but now smell the rain. Since I have found a stairway, I now can kneel and pray, and find freedom from the pain. Now on my way to heaven, I find joy all along the way.
Each step I climb, I meet those that are bitter through and through, but praise be to God, I meet many happy warriors too.
Along this stairway I've found dogwoods, buttercups, and rainbows, that always seem to be the most beautiful, against a background, of a stormy gray blue.
For every raging river I've seen turbulently pass, God has shown me another as smooth as glass.
Since I have found a stairway, I now enjoy the climb, for my mind is looking up, and not at what I've left behind.

This picture was taken from the window of our first home, we built together, and then sold as we went into the ministry.
Luke 18:29-30: Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake, Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.
We hated leaving this little home, friends, family and great neighbors but it would have been such a mistake not to do so. We have met and made so many friends and neighbors and the impact God has made on us cannot be measured. We have learned that to follow God's will is not a burden but a blessing over and over. May God Really Bless You! Keep shining and be as good as you can be and when you have a chance; you pray for me.
