"I'll See You In Heaven"

It has been told, my life is simple and will be a task easy to write the book.

My life has not been even a bit boring nor slow and our day was gone in just one look.

There is no doubt, not one doubt,  I'll  see you in heaven and forever we'll stroll hand in hand.

From the first glimpse of light I knew, my eyes would be filled with such sight.

Each paragraph, each mark and line, finds you in each and every stroke I write.

There is no doubt, not one doubt,  I'll  see you in heaven and forever we'll stroll hand in hand.

You punched me in the heart in the first round and my breath was gone without a sound.

The match was quite short yet, just one hit to my heart and I fell slowly ever to the ground.

There is no doubt, not one doubt,  I'll  see you in heaven and forever we'll stroll hand in hand.

The cut was precise so deep, and it took years the throbbing pain to stop and bleed.

I felt this pain deeply in my soul and even my heart was dazed and wept of need.

There is no doubt, not one doubt,  I'll  see you in heaven and forever we'll stroll hand in hand.

I find healing almost come then once again I feel the scar so deep and wide.

How long till once again I see a rainbow, or feel the rain and lose this pain now vacant at my side?

There is no doubt, not one doubt,  I'll  see you in heaven and forever we'll stroll hand in hand.

Your leaving, so soon felt as winter's deep, so cold and dark; will I see you in the Spring?

When I die and you do too, will we greet each other, the beautiful song our life did sing.

There is no doubt, not one doubt,  I'll  see you in heaven and forever we'll stroll hand in hand.

I will see you in heaven my dear love and friend, and there'll be no more scars to mend.

We'll stroll through heaven hand in hand and our love will be anew my greatest and cherished friend.

Revelation 2:1. Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks; 2. I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars: 3. And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted. 4. Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.

Many today feel God is like a convenience store.  They can run to Him when they feel they want something.  Some feel today that they are to lead a campaign against any they do not agree with and call it in God's name.  The church is not here to serve us but is our place to better serve God.  Churches are dieing spiritually and from old age.  Christ here in this scripture is happy with our efforts of worship but informs the first gift we have been given is being neglected.  We were given love, compassion and forgiveness yet many wage personal agendas and power struggles to a point that church is nearly unrecognized in its original truth.

Love is so special that the inspired word of God states that, "God is Love."   I cannot imagine facing death or the death of one I love so dear without knowing Jesus Christ as Savior.  Parents are never prepared for a child to die, and most of us never are ready for one we love to die, but if  a believer in Christ, we are ready ourselves to go to heaven, when our appointed time comes.

What we care about the most is what is always present in our heart.  Your first romantic love in your life, though not always the last, will forever be present and even used as a measure of other relations in your life. God  informs us here to always remember that God is love.  He is our real only first love.  He loved us before we loved Him.  The only way to have love to share is to first receive love.  God has provided both means and way to approach Love, the throne of grace, boldly, with confidence and energetically. Love is one of the few things in life that will increase the more we give it away.  This Way is Jesus Christ.

I have learned it is much easier in life if I both give and receive forgiveness.  I have learned that each day my mistakes are usually not planned but are developments which draw me closer to God.  I have learned that God is good whether I am or not.  God is good whether I can feel or experience Him or not.  I have learned that above the darkest storms; the Son is still shining.  Keep shining and be as good as you can be and when you have the opportunity; you pray for me!
