"I Never Saw"

I never saw my Savior's face, but I know He is my Lord.

I never saw His blood so crimson red, but I know He died in my stead.

I never saw the blood that fell, but I know it fell for me.

I never saw His hands so tender and strong, but I know He touched and forgave me of all wrong.

I never heard His voice in an audible way, but I know He speaks to me still today.

I never saw His old, rugged, blood stained cross, but I know praise God, He's not still there.

I never saw the borrowed tomb where He was laid, but this I do know, by Him all my sins have been paid.

I never saw Heaven's gate, so beautiful and free, but I know Christ is there, and he awaits for me.
