"I Thank God He's Not Fair"
Today as I view my life by God begun; I see many thanks I've left undone.
I thank God I was born to a sharecropper, where I learned work was hard but proper.
I thank God for placing me to view life often from the outside, showing me folks whether rich, poor, happy or sad needed love in spite of pride.
I thank God for raising me in times of racial tensions and the Vietnam war, causing me more of love in mankind to look for.
I thank God for moving me from my high school while changing my life, as I learned a deeper love for friends and I met my wife.
I thank God for allowing me to be at times of money a little low, allowing us as a family working together with love to show.
I thank God though often I've failed; He allowed me to see myself in my children as so much good to now avail.
I thank God today for moving our family in His ministry often, while learning many hard lessons only He can soften.
I Thank You God for allowing me to feel quite lonely, helping me to rely more on You, as my one and only.

Ephesians 5:20 ... Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
I have always been a people person. I love to watch folks. We always feel we can improve on God's creation in us. Young boys will change their hair, weird their clothes, play music deafening loud, louder mufflers on their cars, pour cologne on by the gallons, all trying to say, "this is who I am now." Young ladies will do much of the same, even covering with makeup. That is a lot like putting bondo on a new car. Husbands and wives go in search of a better mate. Some change jobs more than they change socks. It takes a while but most usually find out how wonderful and beautiful a life God has given them. We find many of our imperfect situations we have experienced, had real beauty we refused to see. Some get so involved in providing a good life for their family that they miss their family. This is a lot like climbing a mountain to view beauty from the top, but missing the scenery along the way. Today stop to catch your breath. Give thanks to God for making you the unique individual that you are. Look around and embrace God's gifts that you've been missing. Keep on the sunny side. Keep shining and be as good as you can be and when you have a chance; you pray for me. May God Really Bless You!
