"It Is Good For Me"
I would love to say my life has always been good but often the good of life I've misunderstood.
I have learned much in life is good for me inwhich I often do not agree.
I have though learned it is good for me, as God's wonders all around are placed to see.
Even though this world is most unjust; it is good for me in God to place my trust.
I know this body designed by God is of the dust but in God there is no disgust.
It is good for me His name to declare and tell of His love not rare, inwhich none can compare.
It is good for me to declare in Christ I place my love and care and in God's family am His heir.
It is good for me to know though this vessel of clay may sometimes stray he will love me in every way.
I know though hardship may come to me; in my heart my Lord will forever be and though my eyes may often not see; It is good for me.

Psalms 73:28 ... But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord God, that I may declare all thy works.
We have often joked to say, "It must be good for us because it tastes so bad." We hear many in the world talk about how marriage can't work, how hard it is to go to church, or how the bible is such a hard book to understand. The little old devil only has one little sack of sin that he uses again and again because God will not let him use anymore. He does his little brain wash number on folks once again as with Eve to try to make good appear unattainable. David could have given up and thrown in the towel a number of times but he remembered the only time life had been good for him, was when he truly recognized the goodness that God had placed smack in the middle of his life. He found that though the world often could not be trusted; God always could. When David trusted in himself or in his wants; they usually brought him trouble. He didn't ask God about Bathsheba because he new God would have told him the truth. We often say our prayers are not answered because we do not get a yes but we must remember God is not just a yes man. David trusted in his own strength very soon to find that it was he that could not be trusted. Sure we like David would like to know we have grown enough that we can truly trust ourselves but we like David will come back to God and know God can always be trusted. Sure life has let you down and will again but we do not have to remain in the down time. We want to be as close to God as we can and we have to find where we are with God to know where we stand with Him. The best way to know where you stand is to draw so close you feel His warmth, so close the life you live is His, so close you can feel His love and so close others will know that you are in love with God. Keep on the sunny side. May God Really Bless You! Keep shining and be as good as you can be and when you have a chance; you pray for me.
