Jesus Can

"Jesus Can"

I can't paint a sky or a river so pretty blue, nor count the many grains of sand, but I know Jesus can.

I don't know of all the wrong that you have been through.

I don't always have the time to hear you pray, whether your first or last prayer too. But I know Jesus can.

I can't turn an ocean from a storm to a sea as smooth as glass.

I can't mend a marriage to a life brand new.

I can't be like God, at the very best that I can do. But I know Jesus can.

I can't heal your body, nor cause a person to believe.

I can't remove the weight of this world, for your pain to relieve. But I know Jesus can.

I can't read your mind, nor know your heart through and through.

When your heart is broken and you don't know what to do, I just don't always know what I should do.

I can't make a life from a simple pile of clay, but this you should know, so you too will say,"Jesus can."
