"Peace Be Still"
When the waves of depression roll over me cold, Lord give me peace from the rain. When the winds of pain, nearly blow me away, Lord give me peace from the strain.
When the lightning flashes, that my eyes cannot see, Lord give me peace from the night.
When my life is cold and I feel all alone, Lord give me peace that carries on. When the heat of life burns and all seems to be going wrong, Lord give me peace, that you can give alone.
Though the storms rage still, I now find contentment, as I call on His name, And He says Peace Be Still...

Romans 12: 18. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
One man was very upset with me when I shared with him the fact that as long as there is sin on earth; there will be very little peace. He felt that since the angels declared peace on earth and good will to men; it was so. It is true that God has sent us peace with Him through His Son Jesus Christ. We were once His enemies but now we are at peace with God. Until Christ comes again there will still be storms, hurt, pain disease and sin all around. I like what an old farmer told me. He said, "good fences make good neighbors." Sometimes it is seemingly impossible to tolerate others. They drink and drive, steal, trespass as if your land was theirs, allow their animals to run wild, molest children, rape and much more. We are asked in this scripture to at least try. One day we will know peace completely but until then keep right on spreading the good news. Keep shining and be as good as you can be and when you have a chance; you pray for me.
