"Please Don't Judge Me"
We live in a day most gray, where of life people often shy away.
Some have many games they play and very few moments of love display.
They feel much better than others they are but it is love needed most far.
Their worth is measured in money or their car but at night we sit under the same star.
Please don't judge me by where I've been for I just might become your closest friend.
Please don't judge me by what I in this life accumulate but watch with whom I affiliate.
I have found it is love I so appreciate and God's love that I must accentuate.
I have learned it is I that must abate and God's power will accelerate.
Please don't judge me by what seems to you my plight but see in my eyes this gleaming light.
I walk in the light most bright and can never again return the night.
I have learned to walk each day as if ever in God's sight and am His friend because He did first invite.
Much of me to you may not appear just right but my heavenly Father does so delight.
1 Thessalonians 5:3 .. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 4 .. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. 5 .. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. 6 .. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. 7 .. For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. 8 .. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
Psalm 41:1 .. Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble.
I am kind of like the fellow who said, "I don't have anything against rich people. I never really knew a rich person. I met a few that thought they were rich but I felt sorry for them." Sure we have all known folks that felt they were better than others because of a few more dollars, some type of automobile, a certain type of employment, a few years of education or even politics but when the truth is told; we would not trade their life for ours. I have learned if you want a real friend; find one that feels this world is poor at its highest wealth but with God he is wealthy at all times. Some do still walk in the darkness though. They are blinded by what this world has to offer and struggle with unhappiness as they watch their life decay each day. I have yet to meet a dying man that said he wished he would have built that bathroom or worked more overtime. I have seen many though that wished they had taken that vacation with their family, gone fishing with that dad, hung out more with that child, and spent more time smelling roses and less time perfecting them. To be on the outside looking in is to see what this world has to offer as wealth. We are not meant to be on the outside looking in. We are people of the Light, people of the inside. We have the inside connection. We are to go inside and experience God each and everyday. Money is good to have but joy can only be given by God. I ask you today, are you truly rich? Do you have what God wants for you to have today? Did you talk with Him and enjoy His wealth shared with you today? You may be the weathiest person in the world but in poverty without Christ as your Savior. You in turn may be what the world considers the poorest of people but extremely wealthy because your Father owns the cattle of a thousand hills. Keep on the sunny side. May God Really Bless You! Keep shining and be as good as you can be and when you have a chance; you pray for me.
