To Rocky Top
British White Cattle
![]()
We enjoy life way out here in the good old Ozark country. We have the best and only God, and our cows are first class.
The bulls are most gentle that I have ever been around and are famous for low birth weights. The cows are noted for their ability to birth live calves almost always without need of your help.
We grow some real good ticks and our rocks are the best. Heard a man say the other day that he killed a tick with a dog on it. I think he shot it!

Lace
Lace is an Australian shepherd that adopted us when she was about a year and a half old. No matter when I came home she would quickly appear when I cranked the tractor. Her owner said we might as well keep her and she has become a big part of our little ranch and family and tries to help at whatever we do.
We've
spoken with this expert and he stakes his life on
the fact that beef is healthier and more
economical than poultry.
This
expert says, British White cattle are some of the
prettiest cows I've ever seen and the calves are
the prettiest for sure. She feels those
black cows are shiny and nice but feels some British White blood would improve them so much.
This bull which requests to remain unidentified,
when asked about the British White cows, simply
stated "Moooooooooooo!!!!!"

Regina has a new project "Jacob" now 2 1/2 weeks old that we purchased from Aurora. He was born a twin to a heifer and got stepped on resulting in bad hip joint. He has never nursed a cow. He prefers Regina to feed him rather than me. He is a pretty guy and he seems to be coming along well. We were going to have him for meat but I fear we may have trouble from Regina. -- We had "Jacob" in a corral and a big Mother Dog and four weaned pups chewed Jacob up badly. The other cows were at the corral gate but couldn't get in to help him. I got in and I killed one of the dogs and wounded another. After days of trying to save Jacob; he finally died. He was three months old.
To the left &
below is
"Aurora
Congo".
He will be sire to two of our 09 calves. To
the right top is Eli, Nanny and "Jacob".
