South Central Baptist Associational News
December 2nd we had our SCBA associational pastors/wives Christmas dinner..
November 13th, 20th, & 27th I preached with the folks at New Hope. I had an informational meeting on the 8th.
October 17th we had our 151rst annual SCBA Associational meeting held at Willow Springs FBC. The 20th we had our SCBA Sunday School Training held at New Hope.
September 4th, 18th, & 25th I preached the AM with our folks at New Hope. The 20th we had our SCBA Budget meeting. The 23rd we had the SCBA Horse Whisperer Event held at Thomasville.
August 5th we had our SCBA Evangelism Conference held at FBC West Plains. The 7th, 14th, & 21st, I preached with the folks at New Hope and we baptized two. The 9th we had our first SCBA Nominating Committee meeting. The 22nd we had our annual SCBA Personnel meeting. The 30th we had our SCBA Calendar planning meeting.
July 3rd 10th, 17th, 24th, and 31st. I preached AM with the folks at New Hope. The 28th we had our SCBA Executive Board meeting held at Little Zion in Trask.
June 5th & 12th I preached the AM at New Hope. The 18th we attended an anniversary service at Willow Springs FBC. The 25th my bride and I celebrated 46 years of marriage and the 26th I preached AM with the folks at New Hope.
May 1 I preached the AM at New Hope. the 8th I preached with the folks at New Hope. The 15th, 22nd, & 29th I was able to preach the AM service at New Hope.
April I preached AM with the super great folks at New Hope and that evening visited the funeral home in Winona. The 28th of April we had our SCBA Executive Board meeting held at FBC Bakersfield.
March I have been working mostly from home with my foot up in the air praying this blood clot will go away. April 18th we had our SCBA VBS work shop held at Berean.
February I have been sick after a huge loss of blood, at which time also was discovered I also had heart trouble. I still am awaiting to be able to have tests to diagnose the reason for the blood loss but I have received two stents in my heart and I'm recovering well from the heart procedure. Regina and I have felt your prayers and love. We are working on a limited schedule at the office and we are handling most office ministry from our home. I pray to be able to be back in the pulpit by April. March 12th we visited the funeral home in ministry to an old friend and the 13th I preached his funeral. The 15th we had the SCBA Camp meeting at the office. The 18th we had a Mission Possible meeting held at South Campus FBC West Plains. January 28th we had our SCBA Executive Board meeting held at Providence Baptist Church in West Plains, Missouri. December 3rd we had a pastor search information meeting. The 4th we had our SCBA Pastor/wife appreciation Christmas banquet. The 6th I baptized 1 and preached with the folks at New Hope. The 13th I preached with New Hope AM & PM. The 20th I preached the AM with the folks at New Hope. November 1 I preached with the folks at New Hope. The 4th we had our pastor/wife breakfast. The 6th I preached in revival with the folks at Lanton. The 7th Regina and I were judges at a pie and chili contest at New Hope in Peace Valley. The 8th I preached with New Hope. The 10th we attended the SCBA WMU event held at FBC Willow Springs. The 15th, 22nd, and 29th I preached with the folks at New Hope October 11th I preached with the folks at New Hope. The 4th I preached with the folks at New Hope. the 19th we had our SCBA annual meeting held at Immanuel in Pomona. The 25th I preached with the folks at New Hope.
