"Sound Arising"

There's a sound arising in the East and it's a time of mankind sharing love the least.

Husbands of old have been bashed unto defeat and the family is sounding retreat.

Children can no longer play in the street, while this world suffers from the heat.

Don't give up; don't sound defeat; there's a sound arising in the East.

Hope is sounding as a whisper and man's feelings are growing crisper.

A sobering rain falls on man's face, bringing to man gravity and grace.

Life is wholesale especially in the womb which haunts the woman a future of gloom.

Don't give up; don't sound defeat; there's a sound arising in the East.

The child has no parent to teach right and wrong and that ahead looks all but strong.

The world is screaming it's over; give in, but a song plays softly on the wind.

Trust is becoming endangered almost extinct but there's a sound not quite so succinct.

Don't give up; don't sound defeat; there's a sound arising in the East.

Some feel loneliness so cold without the one true love  they've been foretold.

They know life in shades of gray only incomplete, asking how can another day I meet.

Don't give up; don't sound defeat; there's a sound arising in the East.

Don't give up; don't sound defeat; there's a sound arising in the East.

Acts 2:2   And suddenly there came from heaven a sound as of the rushing of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

Joel 2:1  Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain; let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of Jehovah cometh, for it is nigh at hand;

Revelation 19:1   After these things I heard as it were a great voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, Hallelujah; Salvation, and glory, and power, belong to our God:

Revelation 21:1   And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth are passed away; and the sea is no more.  2   And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven of God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband.  3  And I heard a great voice out of the throne saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he shall dwell with them, and they shall be his peoples, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God:  4  and he shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more; neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more: the first things are passed away.   5   And he that sitteth on the throne said, Behold,  I make all things new.   And he saith, Write:  for these words are faithful and true.  6   And he said unto me, They are come to pass. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

We've all been hit with some hard licks in our lives.  We know we are to trust God and put this behind us but when you are being hammered by pain right now; that seems to be all that we can or will experience.  I wish I could heal all of us of doubt to give us assurance we could keep our eyes on Christ, no matter what may come but I cannot.  I have learned though that God is good all of the time.  Just as the sun is always shining  above the clouds darkest gray so is God always there everyday.  Don't give up; don't sound defeat; there's a sound arising in the East.  You keep shining and be as good as you can be and when you have a chance; you pray for me.  May God Really Bless You!
