"The Noise of Silence"

I saw something so good just yesterday.

It's becoming so silent; I fear it's going away.

It's becoming blurred; I fear it may not stay.

There was a family, traditional and complete.

Some seemed to stare, searching for defeat.

We grew silent, and a baby dies most discreet.

I saw something so good, so pure just yesteryear;

A family in prayer with God knelt warm and sincere.

Again silent, as a girl pleases the group yet none do cheer.

Her burden so heavy as to please the right and the wrong.

A boy eighteen, yet a man, barks you're the singer, I'm the song.

The silence hurts her ears, but she hides her pain and plays along.

Do you hear the pinging silence all around both numbing and fierce?

The silence sends a chill then each note refrains to sharpen it's pierce.

A Mother cries soon to take her life, blinded  by a light not shown, nor clearest.

I heard I love yous, so good just yesterday becoming so silent; I fear it's fading away.

I saw I'm so sorry yet becoming blurred; I fear it may not stay, nor will it be heard.

Psalms 28:1. Unto thee will I cry, O Lord my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit. 2. Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy oracle. 3. Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts. 4. Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavours: give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert. 5. Because they regard not the works of the Lord, nor the operation of his hands, he shall destroy them, and not build them up. 6 Blessed be the Lord, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications. 7. The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him. 8. The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed. 9. Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up for ever.

It seems so many want to blow the other person's candle out to make themselves appear brighter.  When we are criticizing or listening to criticism, it even feels bad.  America has very many good people.  We like what is right and though we err we would rather do so on the side of right.  There has developed over the years what is known as the Silent Majority.  Many consider this to be a compliment, feeling it expresses humility and avoids sarcasm and a bitter spirit.  I am glad our forefathers were not a Silent Majority.  There is wrong in our land today and if you disagree, you are accused of politics, racism, liberalism and more.  These are mere tactics that work to keep our attention off the real opportunities.  We are watching a nation go broke, not because of a handful of politicians nor any president is responsible, but it is happening because we allow it to happen.  I still believe in Jesus Christ and that He is in control.  He is in our nation but unless we call on Him, we will continue to row in circles blaming one another.   Matthew 8:23. And when he was entered into a boat, his disciples followed him. 24. And behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the boat was covered with the waves: but he was asleep. 25. And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Save, Lord; we perish.

In reality, that was the safest boat on that sea.  It would have floated without a bottom.  The men believed the situation rather than the One that controlled all situations.

It is past time that we as Christians rise to our knees in prayer in the name of Jesus Christ and give our situation to Him.  It is time that we as American citizens stand up for our rights.  These are not rights that we are owed or that we deserve but rights that have been fought for, lives given for and we are expected by these that did so, to protect and care for what their blood has been shed for.  We are insulting everyone that has bled, fought and died for us including our Savior Jesus Christ if we do not speak up, stand to our knees and move as the  living body of Christ.  It is time that we realized that we are parts of the living body of Christ and not just His body.  Christ is alive and He expects His body to be as well.  If you put Democrat, Republican, denomination or family before the Living body of Christ, shame on you and may God forgive you.  Brothers and Sisters in Christ, let us join hearts and pray for one another, in the name of the only one that can help and will win, Jesus Christ.  May God Really Bless You!  Keep shining and be as good as you can be and when you have a chance; you pray for me.
