As I behold this morning fair; I feel relief from a load of care.
There is such beauty in this air, that lift my senses so aware.
This day in my memory I will log, a treasured sight of frozen fog.
Tree limbs are draped in drooping white which accents beauty to all in sight.
The air as well right from the night, enters now in transfusing light.
To say the fields do sparkle will not suffice but none could buy at any price.
Each bush is covered in lonely gray but appear to dance in the breeze they sway.
The grass is a glitter in frost array as it too concerts in heavenly display.
All is covered in an ocean white, and is lending visions, our life to ignite.
No matter whether the sky is blue or it is gray; God's beauty is there to survey.
Now today let your soul awake, as with joy you do partake.
Don't keep this day but invest this sight most rare, in all you may be allowed to share.
Psalms 147: 15 ... He sendeth forth his commandment upon earth: his word runneth very swiftly. 16 ... He giveth snow like wool: he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes. 17 ... He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold? 18 ... He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: he causeth his wind to blow, and the waters flow.
One morning not too long ago I saw one of the most beautiful sunrises. It literally colored the heavens. I thought about it many more times through the day and then it dawned on me how this sunrise had colored my world for this day. God had given me many such sunrises and I had never once given thought on how my mind reflected these colors. Now I see He gives sunsets to put His flavoring, His name on each day as well. When we cook, a dish can taste pretty bad if the most important ingredient is left out. God loves us so much that He shares these gifts each and everyday. We should not leave this, the most important ingredient out of our day. While driving to a meeting one morning; I began to search for other ingredients and I began to see the ice as God's artistry. It even made a junk yard have a pleasing sight. With God there is no classic, modern or traditional art. We each are His canvas and we reflect as much love and beauty as we will allow ourselves to absorb. Today open your canvas, your heart, your mind, your life to God's beauty. May God Really Bless You! Keep shining and be as good as you can be and when you have a chance; you pray for me.
