There is so much in life so unsure, but this rock on which I stand will endure.
The iron curtain came down and down came the wall, but the rock on which I stand will not fall.
The water is polluted and the oil wells run out, but this rock is standing without a doubt.
Our nation will let us down, and man will surely fail, but this rock on which I stand shall prevail.
The roses will bloom and then wilt away, but the rock on which I stand is here to stay.
Our bodies are old and then become frail, but the rock on which I stand will never fail.
Sometimes our friends are here and then they are gone, but this rock will carry on.
It's true this life is so unsure, but Christ is the Rock of ages and will endure.
