"Was That Your Hero"

Your dad worked long hours in the night and the day, hoping for your life a better way.

Your mom put your life before hers and for you would cook and clean, so no child nicer could be seen.

When you were a baby, your brother on his shoulders would carry, and his love for you so sure and not maybe.

There is your wife standing with you in the day and in the night, with none the matter whether you are wrong or you are right.

Also your pastor believed in you and told you to go on, and helped you find strength you had never known.

There was your granddad, so full of love and as good a friend as you ever had.

Was it a teacher that chose to care, and pushed you to find a gift so rare.

Was it it your friend in the first grade, that helped you to be less afraid?

Was it a doctor, a nurse or a policeman working hard in the night, so you too would have a chance at right?

Was it God as He gave His Son, or was it Christ that by His death eternal life for all He won?

These all are your heroes, and God has placed them very carefully and there will be many more as on your life goes.

Love these heroes today, and remember of all life's good that did come your way.

Now learn from life good and bad, that you may help another in all you do, and you just might be a hero too.

Matthew 25:34-36

Come ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35.. For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: 36.. Naked and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

Today as you pray, praise God for allowing so many little things to come into your life, that have influenced your life in God's ever positive way.. We often neglect to see and love the good that is all around us, though God has planted them very carefully, to come at just the right time.
