"Where
Has Love Gone"![]()
Through the years and many tears, parents give their
love on and on but when the children are grown and gone the
years, one must ask just where has that love gone.
Another year a teacher greets a class all new and
strives to reach them all and few; then so quickly the year is
through; one must ask just where has that love gone.
Then today the sun shines bright to warm our lives
and to glow away the night but then alas the day does pass; one
must ask just where have those rays gone.
Through the years of love and many prayers, a
preacher delivers each sermon anew but quickly find from all the
cares himself old and not ready yet to be through; one must ask
just where has that love gone.
Love will grow when planted as given away, just as
yesterday's sun does glow hope of a brand new day.
It was last night's sweet falling rain that will by
it's refreshing, give abundant growth to next year's grain.
So when we ask just where has this love gone, the
answer is it has been given away, so that we may pass it on.
Ecclesiastes
3: 15 ...
That which hath been is now; and that
which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is
past.
It is wonderful
to know that God is love. This means that real love is eternal.
We become discouraged from time to time and our love may feel a
little weak but we must remember, it is we that are weak and not
love. Love is constant. Couples married many years see their
spouse die and they sometimes ponder what was it all for. It was
for the children your reared. It was in the love you displayed
that others could see love in action. As I look back in my life I
remember a few teachers that really influenced my life in a major
way. It is not necessarily the college professor that causes you
to work for success. I have noticed that one of the most
important servants in our churches and secular schools are the
ones dedicated to working with preschool and earlier grades. We
remember from their teaching memory verses, abc's, songs and much
more. I have come to really believe that the best results of love
are to be harvested in the future for generations to come. Oh
sure there are definite benefits for today but they were made
possible by love given long ago. If you feel you need more love
in your life, then give the love you have away. Keep it going.
May God Really Bless You! Keep shining and be As good as you can
be and when you have a chance you pray for me.
