They Had Been Loved

The sun moved across the ground and the little flowers followed its every move They felt its warmth They stood up straight, and bloomed their very best

They had their day in the light They began early in the morning, with none else in mind, but to bloom and to lend beauty to all it became their privilege to find They must hurry, because their life would end in just one day The brighter the sun, the brighter their colors, and they were going to make this the brightest day

All day they followed the sun, through the morning so cool, through the noon and evening too But as the sun went down, they closed their face, and bowed low, for in one short day, they had lived their life They had loved and they had been loved

As Christ came riding in on the donkey, He declared that if the people held back their praise; the very rocks would cry out With that very inspiration, I am encouraged with the praise His creation gives Many say they are praising God while they are really worshipping His creation They give to their basic needs while neglecting to give to God We are meant to worship the creator not the creation and that is why he has given us such beauty to enjoy; not to worship but to remind us that He is alive As you look at a sunset; look away and look back and you will see a new picture each time you blink your eyes He painted this site just for you and He means for you to enjoy it However, we should always remember that He is the giver of our gifts Today let's try to give Him praise for the gifts He shares each minute May God Really Bless You! Keep shining and be as good as you can be and when you have a chance; you pray for me!
